Believe it or not, I’ve found it’s shockingly difficult to find a local restaurant with a kids menu that’s as good as the food offered to the parent. Sure, the average kid culinary options typically include chicken fingers, pizza and grilled cheese, but what about a menu that offers a fresh peanut butter and homemade jam sandwich or seasoned house made potato chips? Sound yummy? You’d be right…
KIDS ARE ROCKING OUT AT TUCKER DUKE’S
We’ve all been there.. It’s a week night (in this case, Monday), you didn’t prepare anything for dinner and your kids are ready to start gnawing on your arm. Having boys, we go from “I’m hungry” to epic meltdown in about eight minutes flat. Needless to say nearby options are important. So when I heard that Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox was coming to Boca Raton, my heart skipped a beat.

It’s hard to find family-friendly restaurants that have decent food and a kids menu. When you decide you’re not cooking tonight, you want a restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and cool vibe that can accommodate your kids.
Look no further because Tucker Duke’s in Boca Raton has a New KIDS MENU.
Tucker Duke’s considers themselves to be a “southern style burger joint serving the best craft burgers, craft beers, and snacks in town with tons of flavor and just as much sass!” I consider them to be saving mom’s sanity at dinner time.

Boca Raton Restaurants: Tucker Duke’s
Disclosure: I was invited to dine as a guest of the restaurant. No monetary compensation has been received for this post. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
Tucker Duke’s. Best known for their insane Tucker Duke’s burger with fried onion rings, american cheese, special “tucker” sauce, lettuce, and tomato. So huge that you have to squish it down to fit it in your mouth. (This I know only because I watched Jill do this first-hand). So loved, that Tucker Duke’s will never make any changes or substitutions on it no matter who asks. So, you may be wondering why I’d be eating at a place known for its meaty burgers when you all know I don’t eat meat…
BEST OF BROWARD-PALM BEACH 2016 | BEST GASTROPUB
We crave complex flavors and beverages our ancestors would never have dreamed of experiencing. Tradition is fine, but we must also make our own paths. Thankfully, Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox is bulldozing new tastebud roads that should take us into the year 2075
50 of South Florida’s best burgers for National Burger Month
Restaurant partners Jay Oakes and John Cortés have another dog in the fight: Their Southern-style burger restaurant opened a second location in Boca Raton on April 30. The eatery is just as popular as the menu is novel: The starters alone include fried pickles, mini corn dogs and PB&J bonbons (hush puppies with hot peanut-butter centers).
But the prize pup of the eatery’s 11 burgers is the Tucker Duke, a half-pound of Florida Seminole Pride beef, stacked with a leaning tower of onion rings, mixed greens, tomatoes, Tucker sauce (a Louisiana remoulade), cheddar and American cheeses, all sandwiched between onion-studded rolls.
The Atlantic – We make sure we abide by freshness, that’s our model
A burger a day keeps the doctor away? That isn’t the most sound advice, but after indulging in a ‘Tucker Duke’ you’ll hope that is how the saying goes. It isn’t an everyday occurrence to walk into a restaurant in Niceville, Florida where the owner is Brian Cartenuto– two time winner of Cutthroat Kitchen.
